Planned for Saturday, June 29, 2019 in Fairview Park, Come Together Be Empowered will celebrate those who are fighting these horrific diseases along with a remembrance of those who have lost the battle. Recognition of survivors will be paramount. There will also be food, exhibits, fun, and activities for women, men, and families with 100 percent of the net revenue donated to local Ovarian, Breast, and Cervical cancer programs.
The event includes a competitively timed 5K run and a one mile and 5K walk. The cost is $25 now until June 3, $30 June 4 to June 28, and $35 on June 29. Children 10 and under are $10 until June 28. On June 29 all participants, children and adult are $35.
Free tee shirts (sizes not guaranteed) are included as part of the registration with a special shirts for survivors. Sponsorship and pledge opportunities are available.
The Come Together logo symbolizes efforts in educating all women about these diseases and brings them under one umbrella of education, awareness, screening, and treatment.

Any business, organization or group of family and friends may register together as a group/team.
GROUPS – (15 or more registered participants). Shirts and numbers will be delivered to you within the Decatur area.
TEAMS – (Less than 15 registered participants). Shirts will be together in one package for pickup at the mall.

Each participant must pick up a Participant T-shirt and number. T-shirt sizes are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We are unable to guarantee availability of T-shirt sizes. No children sizes.
When: June 26-27 from noon to 7:00 p.m. at Hickory Point Mall (location to be announced)
You may also pick up your T-shirt and number on Event Day from 6:15 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. in the Registration area. On event day you must pin your number to the front of your shirt or you will be asked to show proof of registration.

- Millikin University’s West Main Street lot, Wood Street lot (Wood and Fairview), the Oakland Avenue lot, and the Kirkland lot
- Fairview Plaza spaces southeast spaces only
- A shuttle service will run from 6:45 a.m. until 7:45 a.m. between Fairview Park and Fairview Plaza, Wood Street parking lot, and Oakland Street parking lot.
- Assisted parking is available in the park and can be accessed using the Big Pavilion entrance until 6:45 a.m or the N. Summit Ave entrance by 7:45 a.m.
